I purchased the Sonnox Enhance bundle and received the Inflator. The controls of this plug-in are as basic as any plug-in. If you can't figure it out in the first 30 seconds of trying the plug-in out, you can watch videos that show you what to do. In reality, all you have to do it move the 'Effect' slider up until your music sounds better. No further explanation needed. The effect is very dramatic, and very pleasing to the ears. Some people say that it adds a 'magic' to their audio.

I simply think it makes audio sound better. My understanding is that the 'effect' increases the presence of harmonics in the signal. To me, it makes audio sound closer or 'in-your-face'. There must be some psychoacoustic phenomenon that this is based on. Whatever it is, its great. Use it on individual instruments or on a mix bus and it will make a difference.

This may be the only plug-in I have ever used that always sounds good. For most plug-ins, I might insert them on a track and decide whether or not it sounds better.

The Oxford Inflator never fails. I usually leave the 'Curve' setting at 0. Jayms Bulo. It does a great job doing what it claims to do, and can be shaped in whichever way you want it to sound depending on the application you're using it for. Sounds clean and warm, and not over compressed. I'm really loving this plugin by Sonnox. I was looking for something that could 'lift' the perceived level of the music before the final limiter on the master bus.

The Inflator has been used somewhere on every song of our current album project. It can enhance if needed or focus soley on raising the volume while retaining the dynamics of the songs. One of the easiest plugins I've found to use. I'm very happy with the sound quality and treatment it provides.

Try it on a mix, a buss, or individual instrument to hear how it livens the sound. A must have!!! Superb ; used on very tracks. You should try it. This plugin is the absolute definition of a one-trick pony, not at all a bad thing when it does that one trick better than anything I've come across!

Big Clipper is what you get when you take a clipper and inject it with growth hormones, and then add a little extra MSG on top. Clipping is a great way to transparently control the peaks of your tracks. When done subtly, clipping will make compressors and reverb sound more natural down the line, and give your mix an overall cohesive feel.

But clippers have one glaring issue: They really fall apart when you push them too hard.
